Terms of Service

These terms govern any project, quote, or service you engage THABISOTECH ("we", "us", "our") for. By approving a quote or making a payment, you agree to the terms below.

Our services

THABISOTECH provides software development, website and app design, AI and automation, graphic and UI/UX design, cybersecurity, IT support, cloud solutions, domains and hosting, digital marketing, and related services as described on our Services page. Exact scope for your project is confirmed in writing before work begins.

Quotes and pricing

  • Quotes are based on the scope discussed at the time and are valid for 14 days unless stated otherwise.
  • Custom software and app projects are priced individually — the ranges on our Pricing page are indicative, not guaranteed final prices.
  • Any change in scope after work begins may require a revised quote.

Payment terms

  • Larger projects typically require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due on delivery or in agreed milestones — confirmed per project in writing.
  • Monthly plans (IT support, maintenance, hosting) are billed in advance and renew automatically unless cancelled.
  • Overdue invoices may result in paused work or suspended services until payment is received.

Intellectual property

Ownership of custom code, designs, and other deliverables transfers to you upon full payment, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Until full payment is received, all work remains the property of THABISOTECH. We may retain the right to display completed work in our portfolio unless you request otherwise in writing.

Your responsibilities

To keep a project on schedule, you agree to provide necessary content, feedback, access credentials, and approvals in a timely manner. Delays on your side may shift agreed delivery dates.

Warranties and liability

We aim to deliver reliable, well-tested work, and will fix bugs introduced by our own development within a reasonable post-launch period as agreed per project. We're not liable for losses arising from third-party services (hosting providers, payment gateways, APIs) outside our control, or for issues caused by changes you or a third party make to a delivered system after handover.

Termination

Either party may end an ongoing engagement with reasonable written notice. You remain responsible for payment of work completed up to the termination date.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent version. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
